Our aim is to retain and build our business-to-business (BTB) partnership in the Southern Tier of New York area through Truck Sales, Service and Parts transactions. Individuals with experience in BTB Sales and Medical Sales are perfect candidates. Additionally, experience in Hospitality, Bartending, Insurance Sales, Call Centers, and Mobile Sales could also experience a high rate of success in this role!

Position: Commercial Medium & Heavy-Duty Truck Business Development Representative

Location: Burr Truck 2901 Vestal Rd. Vestal, NY 13850

 

Schedule: Full Time, 5-day work week, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

 

Compensation: Base + Commission Structure $30k - $150k per year

Responsibilities:

The Commercial Medium & Heavy-Duty Business Development Representative is responsible for receiving, processing, verifying, and distributing information from both inbound phone calls and internet lead inquiries on commercial trucks. The BDR representative will follow-up with customers, make outbound phone calls, e-mails and text messages to establish and help develop a business-to-business relationship with prospective customers.

Essential Duties & Qualifications:

 

  • Utilizing different marketing initiatives to grow the customer base.

  • Handle all customer inquiries with a focus on 100% customer satisfaction. 

  • Receive inbound calls on commercial trucks with a goal to establish a firm appointment date and time from each prospect.

  • Project a friendly and helpful demeanor while answering questions and inquiries from customers and providing general or related vehicle sales information.

  • Maintain and communicate exceptional product and inventory knowledge to our customers.

  • Spec & price trucks to our customers in a timely fashion, with best practice follow-up process.

  • Meets & exceeds our dealerships and manufactures objectives in training & sales.

  • Exceptional Oral and Written Communication Skills via phone, one-on-one and online are a must.

  • Proficient in basic math and writing skills.

  • Proven customer service track record or clear desire to provide next level customer service.

  • Comfortable & Confident in a high paced, competitive environment.

  • Must be ready to come in and learn product knowledge training day one.

  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory motor vehicle record to fall within company guidelines.
