Burr Truck Celebrates 50 Years
In an era where many dealerships have closed their doors, downsized or sold out, Burr Truck has stood the test of time. For 50 years, Burr Truck has continued to provide the best possible manufacturers, quality and service for our customers. Founded in 1967 by Charlie Burr, Burr Truck began with the cornerstone of providing outstanding customer service to owners and drivers in the transport industry. About ten years later, Burr Truck partnered with Volvo as one of the first Volvo Trucks dealers in the United States. Today, Burr Truck remains one of the oldest family-owned Volvo dealerships in all of North America.
Today, cousins Chuck and Mike Burr oversee operations at Burr Truck. They are the third generation of the company, preceded by their grandfather Charlie Burr and his two sons, Melvin and Clark. In July, friends, family, local leaders, and customers came together to celebrate 50 years of success. In addition to celebrating 50 years of business, they also celebrated the 40th anniversary of being a Volvo truck dealer and 30 years of working with Isuzu. Here's to 50 more!
